Summer Story

When I came to the dinning room my family was already there. I was still scared and confused about the snakes and I was wondering where that snake came from. I have never seen a snake in our city before. After what happened in that cave I was keep on thinking about the woman I met there and I was asking myself what was she doing in that cave in the first place? And what do all the snakes have to do with all this? I couldn’t stand the fact that I don’t know anything about what happened was bothering me so much that I decided to do something. I searched for the phone number of my doctor from the time I was at the hospital and I decided to call him and ask him if he remembers any woman being taken to the hospital the same time as me. So I called and hoped I would get some useful information.

That night I didn't sleep. I didn't know what was going on. It was a normal summer and suddenly it became strange very quickly. I really want to know who wanted to talk to me. After the doctor told me this I left the hospital immediately and I didn't come back. I still don't know how is the woman I met doing. Now I am at home thinking who wanted to talk to me and why? I didn't feel good that day. I went outside for a walk so I can clear my mind. Then I came back to my house and I went to my room. I saw something really weird and scary. My whole room was filled with posters of snakes. Who did this and what does it mean? Eva

…so I just screamed for help and ran on, and finally I saw people standing on the beach. The woman behind me fell again but luckily an ambulance was there too, I was really tired so I just layed down on the spot. Then people from everywhere came and started asking me different questions. I didn't even realize that they put me on some kind of bed and got me into the local hospital. I told them that I was fine and explained what happend. They told me that someone wants to talk to me. I was suprised because I didn't know anybody from the city and no one knew me. So who is that person that wants to talk to me? Pia

When I started to bandage her leg with my shirt, snakes came out. We started to run, but she couldn´t run that fast so we hid behind the rock. We waited there for five minutes. When we have shown ourselves they saw us, but I don´t know how. They started to crawl against us. I didn’t know what to do, so the woman suggested that we should go in water so the snakes can´t follow us anymore. When I did my first step in water it felt like my legs were burning. I pulled the woman out of the water. I still don´t know what was wrong with water. I didn´t know how to get loose of snakes so... Marija

The woman screamed again and pointed at something behind me. She was shaking and I didn’t dare to look back. I could hear a snake. But not just one. There had to be at least 5 of them. I could barely move. I started to run and I saw the woman did too. I jumped over some snakes and finally I came out of the cave. But the woman wasn’t behind me. I looked over for her and she was still in the cave, surrounded by snakes. She couldn’t move so I went back in and pulled her out. I felt very heroic about what I did. I don’t know why, but the snakes didn’t follow us. Then suddenly, the woman fell on the ground and I remembered that the snake bit her and she must have lost lots of blood. I was scared again. The woman was standing and I realized that this woman was screaming for help. She was there in the cave and when she saw me she became happy and relieved about it. I moved closer to her and I asked her what was wrong. She showed me her leg.I could see awound. It was bad. She told me that snake bit her. At school I was in the first aid group but I didn't know how to help her anyway. I already thought about everything I learned at school and I figured out what I can do but then suddenly the woman screamed again… EMIN
